Obedience Classes
Our obedience classes help you form a stronger and more satisfying relationship with you dog and can also reduce stress and anxiety in nervous dogs.
We will teach you reward-based training techniques that will keep your dog safe and provide for the safety of other people and pets. We will also teach you how to eliminate unwanted behaviour.
Although obedience training can start with dogs of any age, it is generally more beneficial if training starts as early as possible after your dog has completed all of its vaccinations (around 3 -4 months of age).
Introductory Classes
We teach you how to respond consistently and predictably to basic instructions including:
- Heel work
- Sit and Stay
- Down and Stay
- Recall
Advanced Classes
Building on our introductory training we extend commands to include:
- Retrieving Toys
- Introduction to Dog Agility
- Beginning Left & Right Turns
- More Advanced Obedience
There is a maximum of 8 dogs per class.
Classes are booked and paid for in blocks of 4 consecutive weeks.
If you cannot attend a block please let us know at least 24hrs in advance so that we can offer the space to another dog.
